In commemoration of the International Day of Education, GYLF Ambassador Gem.Rosemary Akilor donated stationeries, books and other writing materials to Government Girls Secondary School in Rumuokwata.
She also inspired over 4000 girls present at the school, teaching them the importance of education.
She encouraged the girls to stay focused, cultivate good reading culture and impact their nation; Giving them clue from a popular quote which says "If you educate a man you educate an individual, but if you educate a woman you educate a nation".
The students were greatly blessed and inspired.
