International Day of the Girl Child in Yaounde, Cameroon

Posted on 14th October 2019

GYLF Admin

The GYLF team in Yaounde kicked off their Mental Health Campaign in commemoration of the World Mental Health Day with a visit to the students in St. Joseph Comprehensive College in Yaounde Cameroon‘s Capital City.

The aim of the campaign is to quell any misconception and biases on the issues of Mental Health and encourage Young People to speak up about their Mental Health.

They also seized the opportunity to empower young girls in the school to celebrate the International Day of the Girl Child.

They were able to inspire the female students to believe in themselves and believe they can achieve anything they set their minds on.
