In commemoration of the 2019 International Day of the Girl Child, Ambassador Shola Shoroyewun and her team organised a special program with 10 schools in attendance in Ajegunle community in Lagos, Nigeria.

She distributed free sanitary pads and exercise books to everyone present at the program.  She also had prominent women at the program to grace the occassion and some of them addressed the students on several topics pertaining to the Girl Child.

The female students in attendance were highly inspired and well enlightened on several issues commonly faced by them.
