The GYLF team in Port Harcourt, Nigeria organised a most inspiring summit were they gathered distinguished school owners and teachers for a great time of celebration, inspiration, training and impartation.
The summit began with an opening speech by the lead ambassador, Praise Amenkhienan. She welcomed the teachers, eloquently communicated the purpose of the meeting and introduced the special dignitaries present at the summit.
The teachers and school owners started off by watching a special and timely message by our dear man of God Rev. (Dr) Chris Oyakhilome titled 'Fulfilling your purpose'.
Special workshops specifically designed to touch several important aspect of their work as teachers were also organised and they were taken by special dignitaries and professors present at the program.
There were several music, dance and spoken word presentations specially designed to entertain the teachers and school owners.
The highpoint of the meeting was the impactful and powerful ministration by the Zonal Director of Christ Embassy Port Harcourt Zone 3, the highly esteemed Pastor Joy Amenkhienan who graced this epochal meeting. She taught on the importance of having the life of God as a teacher, emphasizing the spirituality of their profession and she ended by leading the teachers in the prayer of salvation.
The teachers expressed their heart felt gratitude for this great initiative and program that have impacted them specially and they are ready to join force with the forum to change the lives of young people in Rivers State.
